EU red tape ‘condemning cancer victims to early death’

More examples emerge this week of the EU making our lives worse – and shorter – as this article in the Telegraph points out;

groundbreaking treatment is being denied to British patients because European regulators work far more slowly.

It goes on;

Because of Britain’s EU membership, all rulings on drug approval are taken by European regulators. They have now been pondering the decision for almost a year – and industry insiders said it could be almost 18 months before a decision is reached.

This is not the first time the EU has put lives at risk, as this article from Medical Daily points out – outdated EU regulations prevent children from receiving life-saving cancer drugs.

Cancer experts warn that if changes are not made to European Union regulations soon, many children with a life-threatening condition will die as a result of not receiving the right medication.
